Day 1: SAIGON - CAI BE - SA DEC – CAN THO
7:30am: Pick up at your hotel in Saigon and depart to Mekong Delta. (Pickup and transfer service from hotel in Saigon with additional cost which can be booked in the next step)
Begin cruising from Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am. From the sampan, observe life as it plays out on shore - people going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes - while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. Lunch is served on board. Before arriving at Sa Dec, stop at various points along the river for a look into some of the cottage industries of the region including a brick factory where everything is made by hand, pass monkey bridges and tiny villages to visit a Cao Dai temple. Arrive in Sa Dec and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit the Kien An Cung, ancient Chinese architecture has played an important part in the Chinese community in Dong Thap for nearly a hundred years. Back to the boat, continue cruising towards Can Tho along a narrow canal teeming with life. Explore the countryside surroundings by local rowboat. After returning onboard, Song Xanh Sampan continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 2: CAN THO – SAIGON
Wake up early at 6:00 am for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which operates daily starting from 5:00 am. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables from the Delta, making for some stunning photos.
Continue cruising towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty. Transfer back to your hotel in Saigon and arrive to the hotel around 14:00-14:30. End of the trip.

After lunch, board the Song Xanh Sampan for a leisurely cruise on the busy waterways of the Mekong Delta, with stops along the way to visit local cottage industries that utilize products from the Delta like rice and coconuts. Before arriving in Sa Dec, stop to visit a traditional brick factory where everything is made by hand. Dinner is served on board. Enjoy your first night on board your sampan as it moors on the Mekong River.
Day 2: SADEC - CAN THO
After breakfast on board, step ashore and take a stroll to a lively outdoor market. Visit the Kien An Cung, ancient Chinese architecture has played an important part in the Chinese community in Dong Thap for nearly a hundred years.
Back on board, cruise towards Can Tho along narrow canals, passing several monkey bridges. Lunch is served on board, before another shore excursion to a Cao Dai temple. Board a small rowing sampan to further explore the small armlets of the river. After returning onboard, Song Xanh Sampan continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3: CAN THO - SAIGON
We set off early at about 6:30 am to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges laden with fruit and vegetables. Be sure to have your camera ready for photos from this unique vantage point! Later on, cruise towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty. Arrive in Rach Gia, the capital city of Kien Giang Province, located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Breakfast is served on board before disembarking. For travelers traveling early to Phu Quoc, we serve breakfast as early as 6:00 am. Arrival around 7:00 am then transfer to the Rach Gia seaport for the speed boat trip to Phu Quoc (08:05-10:45).

Day 3: PHU TAN - CHAU DOC
Breakfast is served on board while your sampan cruises towards Chau Doc. Close to the border with Cambodia, Chau Doc is the gateway to Phnom Penh. Known throughout Vietnam for its pagodas and temples, Chau Doc is also famous for the Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, a superb eucalyptus mangrove. Disembark at Victoria Chau Doc private pier at approximately 10:00 am. Transfer to the hotel in Chau Doc town and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 4: CHAU DOC - PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, we transfer you to boat pier for departure to Phnom Penh by speed boat (leave 7.30 am, arrive Phnom Penh ~ 12.30). End of the trip.
Note: Cambodia visa can be obtained at the border at 30 US$/Person and 2 passport size pictures needed each person.

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Chau Doc
12:30: Board the speed boat from International Floating Port – 103 Sisowat, Phnompenh to Chau Doc, Vietnam via border crossing.
~18:00: Arrive the pier in Chau Doc, trasnfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Chau Doc.

Day 2: Chau Doc – Long Xuyen
Your crew welcomes you at the Victoria Chau Doc hotel's jetty at 10:00 am with cold towels and a refreshing drink as your Song Xanh private sampan sets off for its leisurely cruise on the waterways around Chau Doc towards Long Xuyen, traveling along a narrow canal past monkey bridges and peaceful villages.
Lunch is served on board before arriving in Long Xuyen. Visit Tiger Island (Cu Lao Ong Ho), a small island that was once the home of Vietnam's second president- Ton Duc Thang. Take a stroll around the park surrounding the museum.
Dinner is served onboard. Enjoy your first night on board the Song Xanh on the Hau River.
Day 3: Long Xuyen – Sa Dec
Breakfast is served on board at 7:00 am while your sampan cruises downstream. Arrive in Sa Dec in time for a stroll around this charming town. Visit the Kien An Cung, ancient Chinese architecture has played an important part in the Chinese community in Dong Thap for nearly a hundred years. The small town is well worth exploring as it played an important role in the development of the Mekong Delta. Large Chinese and Khmer communities were established here, while the French also left their mark on the local architecture. As a result, many religions are represented side by side: a Cao Dai temple, a Catholic church, a Chinese temple and Vietnamese pagodas. Lunch and dinner are served on board. Enjoy your second night aboard the Song Xanh on the Mekong River.
Day 4: Sa Dec – Cai Be – Saigon
We begin cruising at 6:00 am towards Cai Be. Observe life as it plays out on shore - people going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes - while your crew serves breakfast onboard. Stop at various points along the way for a look into some of the cottage industry of the region: a brick factory and local food production like coconut candy and puffed rice (the local equivalent of popcorn), small home-based businesses that provide a living for the river people. Board the local row boat to better explore the Tan Phong islet.
Your cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river, surrounded by fruit plantations, a glimpse into the Indochina of yesteryear. Then, meet our private driver for the transfer to your hotel in Saigon city center.
