Depending upon the nationality and passport of the applicant, a tourist visa may be granted for either a fifteen (15) or thirty (30) day stay in Vietnam.
We provide the visa upon arrival service for those entering Vietnam by air & wish to get visa at the airport with a pre-visa approval. The visa on arrival is not valid for those who enter Vietnam by land border. You must have this pre-visa approval from Vietnam Immigration Department which allows you to board the plane to Vietnam (without this letter you cannot board the plane).
To enter Vietnam you need:
1/ Original Passport which has minimum 6 month validity left from the departure date from Vietnam. 2/ 2 recent Passport size photos (4 x 6cm) 3/ Copy of Visa Approval Letters 4/ Visa stamp fees in cash in US$

Visa on arrival
The easiest way is to get your visa through a licensed Vietnamese Travel Company, such as VIETASIA TRAVEL. We can quickly and effeciently organize your pre-arranged visa on-arrival if you wish. It takes about 3 working days (Except Saturday and Sunday) for a normal procession. For an urgent procession, it takes about 2 working days.
The following information is needed for visa on arrival:
› Full name - exactly as stated in your passport
› Date and Place of Birth - exactly as stated in your passport
› Gender
› Nationality - this must be the same as the passport to be used for those with more than one nationality
› Occupation or Job › Passport Number - include any prefix letter › Passport Date and Place of Issue
› Passport Date of Expiry
› Your proposed/actual Entry and Exit dates for Vietnam
› The Country in which, or the point of entry to Vietnam at which, you wish to receive your entry visa on arrival.
Here is the process of the Visa On Arrival:
Step 1: You send us your inquiry and passport copy for the visa via email at info@vietasiatravel.com
Step 2: We will apply for the visa at Vietnam Immigration Department in Vietnam and get the visa approval in 2 or 3 working days for the normal cases or in 1 day for the urgent cases.
Step 3: We will send you the letters of the visa approval via email.
Step 4: Receiving the visa approval letters from us, you double check and print it out and use it to board the plane to Vietnam.
Step 5: On arrival at airport in Vietnam, you will see the red color " VISA ON ARRIVAL" counter before you check out, going to the "VISA ON ARRIVAL" counter, show the visa approval letters to the customs for checking on the system then wait for your visa stamped on your passport.
Step 6: Filling Application Form for the enter and exist and pay the visa stamp fee and give one passport size photo (4x6cm) to the customs yourself and then you are ok to enter Vietnam for the holiday.
